  1. ^_^ Thank you, Thank you sayeda Sohira
  2. Aisha's Necklace allowed us to understand how one small thing can have such a huge meaning in Islam. Just this small incident where the Prophet stopped everyone to find Aisha's Necklace led to the revelation of an ayah allowing us to perform tayammum. It also reveals that people should be patient with their wives.
  3. So basically the main point behind the whole lecture was that the sahaba found a way to make wudu without water. This was called "tayamum". Another thing we learn in this lecture is how much love the prophet had for Aisha (ra). The love was so strong that the rasool (saw) stopped a whole army so they can find Aisha's necklace. :)
  4. You can learn alot from this story about Aisha's Necklace.

The prophet (S) ordered the entire army to stop to look for Aisha's Necklace. This shows that women have a high standard in Islam. The Companions were worried about not having enough Wudu2 to pray. So an ayah came down that allowed the companions to make Wudu2 and they were happy. They were allowed to make Wudu2 through anything on the ground. They would touch the ground and put it on their face. This was called Tayamum
  5. this video shows that allah has a purpose in every thing he does
in this video god wanted aisha' necklace to get lost so he can gives us the new aya in conditions we can understand and find it reasonable
    thanks:)
  6. What struck me as amazing was the love the Companions had for Salah. One would think that in the predicament that they were in-Little water, in the middle of the desert, and in enemy territory- that they would worry over the possibility of their death. After their frustration over staying to search for the necklace and seeing the situation with the water, they STILL thought about their Salah. They were worried that they wont get to pray. Subhanallah, this is a trait we should all try to attain.
    :)
  7. Aisha's necklace was thought to be one small thing and does not symbolize or mean anything. To the prophet, the sahabah stopped under his command to look for his wife's necklace. At first the sahabah put the blame on Abu Bakr, but later on the sahabah praised him because when they ran out of water, Allah sent down an ayah that allowed people to make Tayammum.
  8. The prophet PBUH was informed by Aisha that she lost her necklace so the prophet commanded the whole army to halt and begin to search for the necklace and he had everyone stop and begin the search. The people were complaining that their wasnt that much water left so Allah revealed the Ayat allowing tayamum when there is no water and the caravan was so eased they told abu bakr that his family brings alot of good things.

  1. This video showed us many amazing things about Islam, including Salah. The Sahabah were angry for staying because they were running out of water. They knew that lack of water meant not being able to make wudu, which meant not being able pray. Instead of worrying about the fact that they were out of water in the middle of the desert that happened to be enemy territory, they worried about missing Salah, which shows us how Salah was always the first thing on their minds. This also shows us that we should try to always make Salah the first thing on our minds.

  2. the prophet and his army were in the desert traveling without a sufficient amount of water to make wudu. And Aisha told the Prophet that she lost her necklace. And it wasnt a necklace with diamonds and pearls and gold it was just a regular necklace with beads and some string. but the prophet commanded the whole army to stop and begin a search for the necklace. Then Abu Bakr went to his daughter and the prophet was sleeping on her leg and he squeezed her thigh but she didnt move because the prophet was sleeping in her lap. And then their wasnt a good amount of water for everyone to make wudu. and Allah sent down the revelation of preforming tayamum.

  3. Even when Aisha (ra) was in complete pain from her father, she did not move an inch so as not to awake the Prophet from his position on her lap, just like Abu Bakr once did when a scorpion was eating away at his foot. This just goes to show their unmeasurable, strong love for the Prophet, which he returned when he stopped a whole army to look for his wife's necklace that had slipped off of her neck. A huge army full of men stopped and began to look for this simple bead necklace. This incident shows women's high position in Islam and how much respect the Prophet showed to her. After a while of searching and no results, the men began to become angry. Never ones to upset the Prophet, the men took out their anger on Abu Bakr. When asked why they were becoming angry, the men replied that they were going to soon run out of water, leaving them nothing to make wudu with. This whole incident about one necklace ended in the revelation of an important ayah about tayumum.

  4. Aisha lost her necklace and just informed the Prophet she lost it. She didn't expect the prophet to command the whole army to stop and look for the necklace. Her necklace wasn't even made out of anything expensive, it was just a string and beads given by her sister Asmaa. The army realized that there wasnt enough water to make wadoo and drink so they told the Prophet. They told him if they make their wadoo they will die of thirst so Allah allowed them to make Tayammum which is making wadoo if there isnt water. The way you preform Tayammum is you simply tap the ground with your had and rub your hands and face as if its like water.
