  2. SubhanAllah, no one really takes out the time to tell stories like this one in Qutbahs or lectures. You can learn so much from this video, 1. The Prophet and the sahaba were very patient people, who were accepting of Nu3iman and his character. 2. You learn that there is a time to joke and time to be serious. There has to be a balance of personality in a Muslim. We can not be too serious or too joyful.

  3. There are many lessons to learn in this video. Some being that this teaches Islam isn't always about being strict on religion. Nuiman liked to joke around and it isn't like the prophet didn't like it. The Prophet enjoyed it. Islam isn't just about focusing on religion, you are allowed to have fun. Muslim personality is balanced. All the Sahaba really liked it when Nuiman made jokes. He also knew his limits. If you want to joke, it's fine, but just know your limits. Just balance your personality.

  4. This video shows us that we can joke around but not at the time we got to be serious. Nouman joked around with the Prophet when it was the right time for it but when it was time to be serious he changed. A muslim can joke around with another brother but he must stay in the line and not pass a certain point like they should keep it limited.

  5. This video showed us that Islam is not just a strict religion where you have to be serious all the time, but that there is a time to joke around, and the Prophet welcomed those times. Even though some may believe that Nuiman pushed his pranks to the limit, no one was ever truly angered by him because he was harmless and did it all in good fun. Even the Prophet could not help but be amused and laugh along with Nuiman; he even encouraged Nuiman's playful personality! Nuiman taught us that it is okay to joke around and have fun, but that there is a time and place for it. We cannot be completely serious all the time, yet we cannot be completely careless and free spirited, either.

  6. In this video we learn in the beginning that we should handle our cursing, no matter how frustrated we are. In the beginning we see that Umar (ra) cursed because he was tired of hitting the drunk man, but later the prophet told Umar (ra) that this man actually had a lot of love for the prophet and Allah.

In this video we see a fun side of the Prophet and the Sahaba. We must realize though, that these jokes aren't harmful, they're just simple friendly jokes that do no harm. It wasn't name calling or hurting someone. Overall, the video was very informative and we got to see the relationship of the Prophet and the Sahabi from a different point of view. =)
