''You Only Live TWICE''

  1. Personally, I LOVE this video. This video was the biggest thing on Youtube like a few months ago. This video tells us that "YOLO" is a wrong fallacy. We don't just live "once" but we actually live twice. We live in the dunyah and then we have to live the life after death. Basically this video sums up our purpose of this life. Our purpose of life isn't meant to do stupid things and use the phrase "YOLO" afterwards, but in fact the purpose of our life is to please Allah. When you have a good life in the dunyah, your akhirah life will be great too. So its more like "YOLT" is the new moto. ;) (You only live twice) Hehe!

P.S. Those blood stains at 2:29 are horrific >.< lol

  2. Astghfero Allah, we should all remember these moments, every time we ought to do something wrong we should remember that Allah (awj) is watching us. We should all fear him . for me sometimes I love this feeling especially when I'm talking a test or walking alone its just a great feeling that Allah is always there for u to protect u and guide u. We should All start watching our selves and not wait and say tomorrow , do you know that u r not ding tomorrow alhamudulelah that we saw this video today and late after time is up

  3. Salam all,
This video was quite terrifying! I kept imagining my self in his shoes, and wondered what are the things I would regret in my grave. Sadly there are many! I pray that Allah allows us to be at our highest level of Iman when the angel of death comes to take our souls away to the next life. Ya Allah make our best days, our last, and our best actions, our last ones. Ameen!

  4. It is so wrong to think this is the only life to live and there is none after this. This life is merely a test , it is not right to think that we have no purpose to live, because we do , we have to live for Allah and for our selves so that we can go to heaven for eternal peace and evade Satan's whispers , and that is what matters the most . The worst thing to happen in the afterlife is to regret your actions and missing your worship for allah . Everyone will die one day , its enivatable so we must live our life with good deeds and try to have as little regrets/mistakes as possible .

  5. This video allowed us to come face to face with the reality of DEATH. It showed us how we might enjoy doing stuff we like for the time being, but we will regret it immensely later on in life. As Amina said, YOLO is WRONG. The real life is the one AFTER death. That is the life we should work for, the one we should strive for. This video also showed me that even the things you did do right, you would want to do BETTER after death. You would wish that you could've prayed longer, or worshipped more. We need to always live as if we are about to die, because even this guy did not know that he was about to die. He was healthy, but he just died all of a sudden. This could happen to any one of us, and we should be prepared for this.

  6. I remember when this first came out! This video is a major wake-up call for all of us when it comes to how we're living our lives. Most of us have this way of thinking that we can always do something later. We tend to push things off, but we don't know if "later" will ever come. This life that we live just determines our life that will soon come, YOLT. Just like the video said, when the time comes, we're going to wish we we were strong enough to resist our temptations. We're going to wish that we can go back for a second try, but this life is our "second" try; it's our only try. Just like the guy smoking, we're going to want to come back and tell ourselves that it's not worth it because we enjoy some stuff that we really shouldn't (like music) and when it's too late, we'll realize that it wasn't worth it. Some people live their lives in fear of the afterlife while others are content, confident in their actions and their destiny with Allah's (swt) support. So think of what you do, and if you were to die now, would you be scared?

  7. I choose this video because it has to deal with our everyday life no matter if you are big or small. The reason why is that we all have temptation andmany of us fall for it and this video right is an example of what will happen to us for falling into these traps that shytan has created for us but it will be much worse then what expect. This man hear felt like he was on top of the world that he could anything and everything but then reality hit and he then relized no on this earth is eternal. If Allah (swt) took the most loved man away from his very own prophet who was a sinless man what makes us think that Allah (swt) wont do it us. This is just a reminder for us to take time in our salah and our duaa and to always remember that usally the things you want to do is usally not good for later on.

  9. This short Islamic film gave us a reminder that death can come at anytime. It just shows how the small actions we make in our every day life can be a big impact without us even realizing it. In the video, he was living his life freely not thinking about when he will die, and all of a sudden it came unexpectedly in a car crash. He was definitely not ready to face death because he was doing actions that were pushing him away from his religion, instead of bringing him closer to Allah. After his death, he kept wishing he made different actions like not listening to music, or smoking. It makes you realize that you're not just living once, you're living twice. you live in the dunya and then depending on you're deeds, your eternal life will be either good or bad. So start watching the actions you make, because you never know when death will appear.

  10. Wow, this video is truly something else. It restates the fact that death can and will hit us-at any second of any day. We should all be prepared for when this happens. Sacrificing the things you love most to Allah (like music, or any activity that can be substituted with a better one) show true awareness of this coming day. In this case, the man did not listen to the voice in his head telling him to do the right thing, and instead justified his actions. The first step to becoming a better Muslim is to actually admit you are not the best one. This video demonstrates what shouldve been done instead.

  11. I think this is the most hard hitting video we have watched yet. It really makes you sit and think about all your actions and if they are beneficial to you or harmful. We see that the man got hit and died while he was talking on the phone, to someone he probably shouldn't have been talking to, which is a HUGE reminder that we can died at any moment. This also taught me to do things that i would want to die doing like making Salah or reading Quran.

  12. Unlike many of of my classmates this is the first time i watch this video, and Allhamdullah I did, because it came at a perfect time. We live everyday taking everything for granted, living as though this life is eternal, but the truth is our time is soon and we have to be prepaid. This dunya is a phase, it is a test that Allah put us through. In order to ace this test and be prepared to face Allah we must come to realization with the reality that everything that we do determines what will happen in the eternal life. It is important for us to realize that we will be held accountable for our actions. Inshallah, when the time comes for us to leave this dunya we will ALL leave doing what will please Allah.

  13. This video shows us that even if you live a perfect life and pray it isnt enough. It shows us that one little thing can mess up your chances of Heaven and will have a terrible time in the grave. We should look out for our actions, even the smallest of them because they can affect us greatly later on. Another important thing is that death is unexpected and that we shouldnt think that this life is the last. YOLT is very important for us to know.

  14. When I first watched this, it made me perfect my every move. The one word that struck in my mind while watching it: PROCRASTINATION. this video just shows us how much procrastination can become a defect. I'm not saying the kind when we procrastinate our homework, but our Islamic duties. Many times, many of us would say "Oh Ill pray later; Ill wear my hijab when I get married; Ill start reading the Quran after this week" and so forth. But what if you don't reach tomorrow? Or next week? Or even the next second? The man didn't know he was going to die, everything he did was not perfected, not his salah, and he evenhad a haram relationship. And when he did he regretted; but it was too late. We learn two things 1) Don't put off any thing that could enter you to Jannah, you never know when you might need it. 2) Don't wait till death to start regretting., make sure there is nothing to regret, every night lets look over the things we did that day and make tawbah over anything done wrong, no matter how small.

  15. This video makes you realize that your life isn't going to last forever. It make me realize that anything can happen to end my life at the most unexpected time. It made me want to check up on my actions. When he sees his flashback of him talking on the phone with the oppostie gender, smoking, listening to music, he wanted to change that but it was too late. When he would be making his Salah, he would want to change it and make it longer. It makes me want to do the same to my past
